Reflexology Services Offered
My original training in foot reflexology was in the Universal Method,
founded by Chris Stormer from South Africa. Then as I grew in experience
and knowledge I studied on my own other western and European-styles of
reflexology.
As each client presented their individual needs, my
search began for a more thorough and comprehensive approach to achieving
relaxation and health through the feet - this desire fueled the
continuation of my journey to improve myself as a reflexologist and the
services I offered.
Under the direct training of Shogo Mochizuki, I
have achieved a full certification in the Japanese-style of foot
reflexology, Zoku Shin Do, as well as in Japanese-style hand
reflexology.
Rising Sun Touch
Rising Sun Touch was born from this self-discovery and growth - 60-75
minute session using a combination of techniques from western, and
Japanese-style reflexology.
Zoku Shin Do
I consider this reflexology method to be one of the best, thorough, and
comprehensive approaches to achieving relaxation and health through the
feet.
30/ 45/ 60/ 90 minute sessions are available.
Rising Sun Touch & Zoku Shin Do
90 minute session using a combination of techniques from western, and
Japanese-style reflexology.
Hand Reflexology
30-40 minute session using a combination of techniques from western,
and Japanese-style reflexology.
Hands and Feet
60-75 minute session using a combination of techniques from the
Japanese-style method of reflexology.
Energy Work
This form of energy work was inspired by working on pregnant women. It
is perfect for those who need to feel supported in their present
life-experience through the healing powers of touch.
45-60 minute
session using a combination from the Japanese-style reflexology warm-up
& stretching technique; The energy modalities of Reiki, Magnified
Healing, Dolphin Energy, and a simple version of Yin Tuina referred to as
FSR (Forceless Spontaneous Release); and the Brazilian Toe
Massage.

What
to expect from a session
You will be asked to remove your shoes and socks and will be seated in
a reclining chair. Your feet will be examined, and wiped with a moist
cloth. I will use my hands to stimulate the reflex areas of your feet with
a gentle but firm pressure. All areas of both feet will be stimulated. The
sensitivity of each reflex area will vary. Nevertheless, the session
should not be uncomfortable to even the most sensitive feet.
| I realize life can be
unpredictable at times, and canceling at the last minute cannot
always be avoided but a 24-hour cancellation notice is still
required. If unable to honor appointment, kindly give 24-hour
notice, otherwise charge will be made for time
reserved. |

Reflexology is not a
substitute for medical health care by a licensed medical health
professional. If you are experiencing any specific health problems
you should see your doctor.
If you have any of the following
conditions or suspect you might, please consult with your doctor
before starting a course of reflexology sessions. These conditions
are: high blood pressure, heart conditions, blood clots (deep vein
thrombosis), gout, epilepsy, and
diabetes. |

A primary benefit of reflexology
is a deep state of relaxation, known as the alpha state. This level of
relaxation is the one in which self-healing can take
place.
Reflexology enhances the body's natural healing process.
While reflexology is not the answer to all health problems, it often
reduces pain and speeds healing.
Your healing comes from within
you - reflexology is a tool for you to enhance your innate ability to
relax and heal.

It is
important to receive reflexology from a qualified
reflexologist.
Providencia Morillo is nationally certified by
the American Reflexology Certification
Board (B00547). She has been trained in the Universal Method
of Reflexology, and Zoku Shin Do: Japanese-style reflexology. She
also attended the Connecticut Center for
Massage Therapy in Newington CT to study Anatomy &
Physiology, and Pathology for massage therapist. Provi has extensive
training that includes a wide variety of reflexology methods and
knowledge of when and when not to perform reflexology. Human cadaver
labs have been a great source to enhance her knowledge and
understanding of the human
body. |
"The greatest gift a therapist
can give a client is the opportunity to reclaim their own power and take
back responsibility for their own life."
